You can use the shared virtual number for free! This +44 UK number (+447937 985001) that can receive messages from many countries, not just the UK (coverage list) can be used via keywords, with messages forwarded to you by either email, HTTP and if you have credits on your account, have automatic replies. All these features can be configured using the 'Auto Responder', which is also FREE to use!

Following recent improvements to the World Text platform, additional measures have been employed to continue our successful and speedy delivery of all messages to Irish +353 and South Africa +27 numbers!

Many bulk SMS users will have become aware of certain networks employing 'filtering' of messages, this is where a mobile networks blocks certain messages which do not fit a specified profile. These profiles are often not disclosed and if not monitored can change without notice.

In addition to this we are pleased to announce that delivery to the 8.ta network in South Africa is now possible.

Reducing your messaging costs could be easier than you think, and at the same time it can improve your staff, client or customer engagement!

Savings of up to over 1.5p per message could be realised by using a World Text inbound virtual mobile number. You will share a proportion of the 'termination fee' that normally the networks keep for themselves, which is a fee paid by each mobile network to send a text message to another mobile network. This is what we refer to as inbound revenue sharing.

Do you already provide a 'text to number' a 'reply to this message' or application to application service? Maybe you send text alerts for a taxi arriving or parcel delivery time? We have been busy at work improving the options available for our bulk HTTP and SMPP SMS interface customers. Full details of these updates will follow, and inclusion into the API specifications will be updated. These additional extras will be FREE for all customers to use!

The first key feature is 'scheduled message send' which will be available to the HTTP and SMPP interfaces. This will include the ability to schedule a send of messages up to 24 hours in advance.

The second key feature is 'group management' which will be available to the HTTP interface. This will enable remote management of your World Text hosted 'group contact lists' directly using the HTTP interface, allowing for direct integration into your own application without the need for website based editing.
